Indian Classical Music Classes

"Teaching music is difficult; it is more so when the student is completely unexposed to Indian music. Barnali had a tough task at her hand when she got my daughter of 10 years as a student. My daughter's idea of vocal music was limited to Katy Perry etc. and she did not even know a single Hindi or Bengali song. We're 5 months into the process and I have no doubts that Barnali came out with flying colors in this uphill task. My daughter learnt a couple of Tagore songs (with the notes on keyboard), a couple of Ragas. And the best thing is: I can hear her humming a intricate piece of sargam unconsciously. Barnali has a great attitude. She does not lose patience and can build a great rapport with these young students. She also has a mental map of things to be attempted one after another. This shows her experience. I can refer Barnali to anyone without hesitation. I'm sure that nobody will have a bad experience with her music tuition. "
