What I have observed with my experience is that people(of all age groups) speak ,write mails,talk informally in English and they are clearly unaware of the blunders they commit. There are times when I really want to let them know that they are wrong but it does not go down well with many and they are not that welcoming .But I truly believe one must always be ready to learn as there are many who laugh at you but will never correct you.It is never late to learn. It was in my 7th standard when I started taking interest in leaning English correctly and my memory is not vague as it was my favorite teacher who corrected me when I pronounced the word plumber incorrectly.Since then I know it is pronounced as "plummer" as 'b' is silent.I make a point to correct my friends ,family and students. They love the way I teach . I hope to bring a positive change in the people who would approach me. I have been fortunate to have studied in one of the best schools which is reason behind my confidence. I am a software engineer (technical domain)and I am proud to mention that in the company I work for ,I was the only girl chosen from India to be a part of its website to promote our products due to my communication skills.
