I am a working professional. Have been working for the past two years. I want to do an executive MBA, which requires a min of four years of work experience before applying. So, when should I start studying for CAT which would help me score a good score, and help me get into the right college?

A full-time MBA course in a Tier 1 institution will need a CAT score of at least 90 percentile and around six months of dedicated preparation. An Executive MBA can be done while working and may have a qualifying exam that is not so rigorous. The best way is to go by an ROI ( Return on Investment ) computation. Your investment in MBA education ( both fees and salary not earned for the years of study ) divided by the time taken to recover that money.  It depends on the salary you are holding before enrolment of MBA and the job you take to post your MBA qualification. You need to look at your passion, opportunity, and the organisation you are leaving and joining post studies.
