IdentityCurrently a full time Mridangist (trained under Vidwan. KU Jayachandra Rao) with over 10yrs of experience in this field. Prior to this, I have worked with corporate companies as a mechanical engineer for over 3 years. The career change to the fine arts field was purely a decision of choice and passion.
As a passionate mridangist, listed below are a few highlights from my career.
1. I am a graded artist of All India Radio & Doordarshan.
2. Have shared the stage with eminent musicians, in many of the prestigious sabhas all over the globe, including Aruna Sairam, Shantala Subramanium, Shankar Mahadevan, Vidyabhushan, Mysore Brothers, Malladi Brothers, Ganesh-Kumaresh, to name a few.
3. Have performed concerts and successfully conducted music workshops in many parts of Europe ( Ireland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, France, UK and Scotland) and Africa.
4. Have featured in television channels such as, Nadaneerajanam (SVBC), Shankara Channel, Doordarshan, Insync etc.
5. Hae been guiding Mridangam aspirants to achieve their passion of learning mridangam through classes at my residence and online via Skype , as well.
