Over the past four years, I’ve acted in over 20 productions that have ranged from Greek Tragedies to Musicals to Contemporary Drama. I’ve also been trained in handling various areas of production such as stage managing, lighting, etc. I’ve also delved in directing which has taught me a great deal about the acting process.

Vocals:

I have learnt classical Carnatic vocals for over 10 years. I already have been teaching to over 15 students in the past year.

About me : Acting is my life purpose. Ever since I had the consciousness to choose what I wanted it to be, I knew I wanted to act. I have acted in over 20 plays. I did my Bachelors in Theatre Studies, English Literature and Psychology. I have conducted several theatre workshops and volunteered at theatre festivals in Mumbai. I am now working towards my professional life as an actor. I am working with a highly reputed casting director in Bollywood, where I work with actors and characters in order to cast the right fit for the films. About the course: My classes will give you the tools to becoming the best actor you can be. We will work on understanding the depth of characters as well as your abilities as an actor and as a person. We will also analyze texts, films and other styles of acting. It will be an overall well structured practical and theoretical course in order to get a greater understanding of the craft. Feel free to ask any queries regarding this. About me: Music has been such an important part of my life. I have been singing ever since I was 4 years old. I am still training and have been for the past 14 years of my life. I began teaching three years ago and have a current set batch of 20 students. My focus is mainly on making the student the best singer they can be. I believe that singing is more of a skill than a talent and so any one with passion, discipline and the willingness to learn can do it.
