It is never too late in the IT industry. All you need is your sincere effort and dedication to build your career. As you have a long gap after graduation, you need to check out what skills are in demand nowadays and which skill you can easily pick up. As you have a computer science background, it would be easier for you to grasp any language. If you are interested, you can go for automation testing. Get training and pull up your socks for interviews. Don't be scared with interviews as you will never feel you are prepared for interviews. It is a common problem. But until you don't start giving interviews, you will never gain confidence. Don't fear from rejections because until you don't fail, you never succeed.
