I am and have been appreciative of many professions as each one of them have their own importance but specifically had always been admirable about the whole process of teaching-learning. The way ‘an individual’ can add a lot of sparks in many lives, work not only for own growth but for the holistic development of learners, develop critical thinking skills, help to master complex problem-solving, collaborate effectively and helps broaden the perspective about everything around, is simply amazing. Isn’t it a multitudinal task? Yes, it is. The amount of satisfaction I have after a successful delivery of a 45-minute lesson and after a great success of any of my learner, is unmatched. Being a teacher, I feel empowered and complete in each sense. My task is not just simply delivering the lesson inside the four corners of the classroom but rather nurturing and nourishing all students is my utmost concern. I know well how to ignite ‘hunger for knowledge’ in my learners, how to help them conquering their fears and how to be focused. And I take pride that I am a teacher by choice.
