There is no as such formula to study appropriately but here are some steps which you can follow to know your comfort zone for studying -
Firstly, understand whether you are a morning person or a night person and plan your studies accordingly.
Secondly, make daily targets for yourself knowing your abilities and slowly and gradually increase them.
Third and the last step is to reward yourself, after completing your daily target give yourself rewards like chocolates if you are a chocolate lover or you can reward yourself an extra hour of using mobile phone etc.
