Proper lighting for Hangout video chats

Hello Everyone,

A lot of you must have been battling with improper lighting during Skype or Hangout chats. Here are some tips:

An over head light source would create a butterfly shadow under your nose and dark sockets under your eyes.

A strong source of backlight would show your silhouette or outline.

A good source of light at a 45 degree angle or in front of you or at an eye level would serve the purpose during online video chats.
