Education: Master’s Degree in Education, concentration in Social Science Experience: 10 years of teaching Social Science at the high school level. Form since last 3 year of institution level teaching experience. Served as lead mentor for new teachers for 3 years.

Skills & Knowledge: Knowledgeable in the use of technology to support instruction, including use of Smart Boards, computers and other learning tools; strong organizational and communication skills; capable of guiding students to reach their highest potential; knowledgeable in a range of social sciences; adept at using differentiated instruction and inquiry-based learning strategies to engage all learners.

Strengths & Interests: Passionate about creating an engaging classroom environment that allows students to explore their interests while developing critical thinking skills; highly dedicated to helping each student reach their personal best in the classroom while understanding that every student has unique learning needs and experiences that influence their engagement with content. Enjoys working closely with both students/guardians on individualized educational plans.
