Teaching Experience in detail in Calligraphy Classes
My love for Calligraphy began as a hobby but now it is a meditation for me with open eyes. I conduct online classes and teach the colorful Brushpen Calligraphy. It is an artform that everyone must indulge in at least once. It helps you to relax your mind and be creative. It is perfect for anyone (students, homemakers, professionals) if you do not like to make mess and going out of budget. All you need is brushpens and tutor like me to get started with your Calligraphy journey. See you in the class :)

"Tarandeep is a very knowledgeable teacher. She started with very basics and explained technicalities of each and every aspect of Brush Calligraphy which made me learn it pretty quick. The workbook she provides is absolute must for every beginner and the way she organized it made my learning journey quite interesting and easy. I made the right decision by taking her classes as she guided me with the right tools I need and the right methods to use. If you are thinking about learning Brush Calligraphy, look no further. She's the best. "

Pointed pen calligraphy is a style of calligraphy which is done with a pointed nib (like Nikko-G, LPEF). This nib is attached to a nib holder. This nib holder can be straight or oblique depending on what style of letters you want to create. Then you dip this nib attached to the holder in the ink and start to write on paper by pressing it.
When you press the nib harder, it gives you a thick line. When you release the pressure, it gives you a thin line. So you get alternate thick and thin lines which create stunning calligraphy.
Hope it helps♥

Hi Thomas,
In calligraphy, you make small movements with your fingers. But it's just not your fingers, it's also your brain that tells you where to take your fingers to do beautiful calligraphy. This improves the co-ordination between your mind and your hands/ fingers. This develops your fine motor skills and concentration.
If you ask me, the biggest benefit of calligraphy is expressing yourself with it.
I always wanted to be an artist but painting landscapes scared me. I found calligraphy an approachable form of art. The best part, you can begin with just a pencil and paper.
Also, once you begin learning calligraphy, you will find other benefits that you will not be able to express in words.
Good luck.♥

Hi Akhil,
The kind of pen that you should use as a beginner will depend on the style of calligraphy that you want to learn. Monoline pen (which creates a line of same thickness irrespective of the pressure you apply on the pen) like your regular ball/ gel pens and even a pencil is great to begin with. This way you only focus on the basics of the strokes of calligraphy. Therefore, you will be able to create beautiful calligraphy quickly. This type of calligraphy is called faux calligraphy.
Best of luck on your journey.
