Hari Narayanan

I am currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology (ASIET), Ernakulam, Kerala, India and I have over 15 years of experience in the current position. I have completed my PhD (2023) in Information and Computer Engineering from Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (Deemed-to-be-University by Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education), Government of India), with a dissertation on "Computer Vision Based Approaches for Skin Disease Detection and Classification."

As an academic, specifically as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Ernakulam, Kerala, India. 2009- 2023.I have taught Object-Oriented Programming with C++, Web Programming, Cloud Computing, Java, J2EE, and Artificial Intelligence at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I was also responsible for the laboratory component of these seminars. I was a guest professor for Wipro's BITS PILANI-WASE curriculum from 2013 to 2023.

As a researcher, I have extensive research experience in the fields of Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Evolutionary Computation, Computational Biology, and biological applications. I have published several papers in reputed. My industry experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Datavoice Pvt Ltd and as an Assistant Programmer at IAP Pvt. Ltd for NIC. These experiences have helped me develop strong analytical, design, coding, and troubleshooting skills.

As I completed my PhD with a good number of publication, I thought of looking into a position which involve some more research oriented position for executing my knowledge and ideas and pursue a career in Artificial Intelligence, especially in computer vision science and Deep learning techniques. I am confident that, with my vast experience in teaching, research and a short experience in industry, I can effectively use my knowledge base and experience to solve problems based on both academia and industry.
