Born in Mumbai, India on 26th December 1990, Dishank Vora was introduced to his role in the world of dance in an introspective moment, his formal training for the same began much later with various guides such as Sumeet Nagdev (Judge for Dance Plus Season 1 fame, Artistic Director, Expressions Modern Dance Company), Steve Rooks (Ex-Principal Dancer of Martha Graham Dance Company) and Gregory Hancock (Artistic Director, The Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre) and James Morrow (USA) and many more. In 2008, He had won an award for Best Performer and Best Instructor for Expressions Modern Dance Company. A defined step closer to living his dream was his establishment as Rehearsal Director, Principal Dancer and Senior Dance Instructor at EXPRESSIONS Modern Dance Company, India. He was the youngest member of the company. In June 2011, He was also the First and youngest dancer from India to achieve a Dance Intensive scholarship for Modern Dance at The Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre in the USA. Being impressed by his Performance during his dance scholarship in the USA. In June 2012, The Gregory Hancock dance theatre invited him as a Guest Artist for a Dance Musical called The Hunchback of the Notre Dame. He has a performed last year for Cricket World Cup 2015 representing India in Melbourne Australia. He has Choreographed and performed in various countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, London, and many more.
