01. Q. What do you mean by sentence?
A) A group of words which makes complete sense ,is called sentence.
2. Kind of sentences:
Sentences are of four kinds:
1) Assertive sentence: A sentence that make a statement is called assertive sentence
Eg: Humpty Dumpty set on the wall.
2) Interrogative sentences: A sentence that ask a question.
Eg: 1) Where do you live?, 2) What kind of flower is this?
3) A sentence that express a command is called an imperative sentences.
Eg: 1) Be quiet, 2)Have mercy upon us
4) A sentence that expresses strong feeling is called Exclamatory sentences.
Eg: 1) How cold the night is? 2) What a shame?
