Nishant, for proper study it requires on an average 3 months time, but it depend on your level of study, it's possible to clear the exam in 1 1/2 months preparation.

Sachin, You have to study both math & stat pack to clear the exam.
Shikha, If mathematics interest you then definitely you can pursue this course.
Career wise this is one of the best paid job in the world.

in actuary there is entrance exam .in that two study material.
1st is foundation course
2nd is stats pack
the both is important in entarnce exam

Manideep, Yes you can do this course, but I suggest you to join a organisation from financial sector after completing your CA and along with your job you do this course. As of now there is no exemption.

I recently saw a private institute having a 5 yr masters course in actuarial science. That is completely different from these exams which have to be given and levels to be cleared. Would it have the y same value

Ashwin, The material provided by institute is sufficient to pass the exam.
Mukul, as of now there is no exemption. If u don't want to appear ACET then u can enroll in UK actuary for CT1 exam directly, after passing that u will be enrolled as student member in India/UK.

Prachi, Actuarial at what level? Economics is the part of subject in Actuarial study hence no need to do separate course for that.
