Q1. When and how you started as a BA Tutor?
Ans. I opted to study English Literature both for my Bachelor’s as well as Master’s degree with a keen interest in these subjects from the very beginning. Teaching as a profession happened to me on the encouragement from one of my Senior Professors who taught me at college. It was that lady whom I look up to as a Mentor, who made me realize that I was blessed with the skill to verbally express myself with great clarity and precision. I also had a good command over the subjects which I had studied in college. Moreover, coming from a family of academicians, I always felt it to be my duty to share the knowledge which I had gained during all those years of study with enthusiastic learners who aspire to study the same subjects. Ans. In my opinion being a teacher requires tremendous patience, sound knowledge of the subjects one teaches or plans to teach, the ability to never stop learning and being receptive to both suggestions and criticism as this only helps a teacher to work with a more dedicated approach in order to do his or her best in the interests of their students.
