Q1. When and how you started as an Automation Testing Trainer?
Ans. A lot of companies, a lot of teams are different all might are facing the same problem that I faced in my QA journey. So that’s the reason why I chose a tool like Selenium to teach, because we can use the same programming language that the developers are using, like Java and it is open source as well. Then what I learned by my own I started sharing the same to others. I added few after such as SoapUI, Test Management Tools and what not!
From the era of cavemen to the era of smart phones, mankind saw incredible journey towards development. A lot of people try to use the latest tools while they have their mind to start doing the automation, or what they think is next to impossible to automate. I went through the same thing and I overcame the challenges soon from my career by having Automation in place.
Being a teacher, I am passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with all my peers and candidates who want to act as a Geek in Automation. I taught in several institutions and individuals too, and luckily I got huge appreciation and nice feedback from my students on UrbanPro. Q2. What skills are required to become an Automation Testing Trainer?
Ans. To be a good tutor, you need to be honest which helps to establish a good reputation and it is also a stepping stone towards becoming a successful tutor. I believe flexibility is an aspect which helps to adjust techniques and approaches, to meet the learning requirements of a student.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans. Life is an exam where the syllabus is unknown and question papers are not set. Nor are there model answer papers. Automation is hard but not impossible. Sometimes you don’t even know where to start. It gets even more difficult when you have multiple teams that need to get involved with your testing. There are so many things that can go wrong. Don’t lose control of your enterprise testing efforts.
I saw a new project in my company and it was supposed to be all new HTML5 development and new technology based development, and we decided to go with Selenium, and that’s great with BDD. But over time I started to realize I have to integrate with these older technologies. I chose a tool like Selenium along with Maven and CI / CD and that was the day! Seems like I have still so much to learn and share to my people about the same.
