Meet Anugraha Narayanan, a Classical Dance Trainer

Anugraha Narayanan has been always associated with dance. Since her childhood, she used to spend a good amount of her time practicing the Classical Dance form. Her passion for the Classical Dance has made her start teaching the dance form to students, when she was studying in 11th and 12th Standard. Over the last one decade, Anugraha has guided many aspiring dancers to perform the Classical Dance form perfectly. Our heartiest congratulations to Anugraha Narayanan!

 Here is an excerpt from the interview with Anugraha Narayanan:

Q1. When and how did you start as a Classical Dance Trainer?

Ans. Dance is my passion. I have been teaching dance since the time I was studying in 11th and 12th Standard. My guru Dr. A. Sumathi Sundar used to say ‘Preaching knowledge will always shape you’,  and I believe that actually helped me a lot in my profession. Q2. What skills are required to become a Classical Dance Trainer?  Ans. A Classical Dance trainer needs a lot of patience and great communication skills, to teach Classical Dance to students. One should be passionate about helping students learn each and every dance move perfectly. As each student is different, the challenges faced by each of the students would be different. So the trainer must be compassionate and motivate the students, to keep practicing the Classical Dance form regularly.

Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other Classical Dance Trainers on UrbanPro.com?

Ans. I felt I have the necessary skills required to become a good Classical Dance Trainer. I believe my ability to deliver classes with more practices and keeping in mind my students' convenience, and my teaching method makes me stand out from other dance trainers.

Anugraha is a passionate dancer and started to teach Classical Dance, when she was studying in 11th and 12th Standard. Dance has always been Anugraha’s first love. She aims at making her students understand each and every dance moves and perform the Classical Dance form with great grace. Dedicated, passionate and a great motivator, Anugraha ensures her students enjoy learning the Classical Dance form. Anugraha has been in the dance field for more than a decade and has performed in many states across India, representing the state of Tamil Nadu. She is one of those rare Classical Dance Trainers who brings out the best dance performance from her students. Anugraha is based out of Chennai and provides dance classes at home. She also teaches Classical Dance in several schools. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from St.Peters College of Engineering and Technology.
