I have completed Dual degree(B.Tech + M. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2012, and currently pursuing the flagship course from IIM Bangalore.
I also had admission offer from IIM A, IIM B, IIM C but decided to join IIM B.
Technology is vast and fascinating and I am absolutely in love with it. Many a time’s people confine definition of technology to IT, but that is a restricted definition and working with Godrej & Boyce provided opportunity to explore the other fields in technology. After completing dual degree from IIT Bombay in 2012, I joined product development and R&D department. Working with Godrej was a wonderful experience, has helped me not only to develop strong technical skills but also inculcated values and made me more humble in life.
A year ago I joined IIM Bangalore to learn managerial aspects of business. Life at B is dynamic and exciting. Technology is an important tool to bring ideas to life. I am self-taught programmer and have developed more than seven websites and four android applications in sales, education, food and arts domain. Recently I had started IIM Buddy; a mentorship platform from IIM students, along with fellow IIM Bangalore students. We finished a successful admission season and now working for the next.
Juggling through classes and extracurricular activities, I have been able to find time for my passion, entrepreneurship. I am strongly fascinated by smart technology, in specific its applications in “Internet of things”. I have developed, India’s first smartphone controlled toy for children and very soon in process of launching it.
It is wonderful to bump into people with diverse backgrounds and to have meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee.
