The musical journey is never-ending. But to become a good musician, you need to have a decent knowledge of various aspects of music. Being Indian, we are exposed to so many different genres of music from all over the world.
There are the following concepts you must know:

2. Learn an instrument; at least one.
3. Good knowledge of scales
4. Knowledge of chord structures, inversions, and their uses.
5. Harmonic structures of the song or any composition.
6. And most importantly learn to practice all the above points.
I hope you are satisfied with the answer.
