Watercolor is a water based paint. It take multiple coats of colour to build up when you are working on portraits, landscapes or any detailed art piece. While these are really vibrant and fun to experiment with,doesn't have much scope of repairing. So you have to be really cautious while using Watercolor. While Acrylic is highly Pigmented, heavy body paint. Although it dries quickly, you can alway layer it up to fix mistakes,do repair work etc. Good for creating depth and details. Both are unique mediums that Artists love to work with. read less
