No, ideally it shouldn't. A lot of students do join coaching for JEE right in 11th std only. Initially, when you enter a coaching institute & try to manage it with the everyday activities, you might not fit in well & feel weird of what's happening, but eventually, you figure out ways on how to manage your coaching and daily activities along with school. Your coaching is meant to help you precise JEE examination. The topics and chapters are taught excellently at the coaching institute because you will appear for a national level examination competing with some of the top brains of the country.
Your board exam syllabus by default gets covered in coaching institutes, but the order might differ. It is not necessary for what you are taught in school might be the same as you're prepared at coaching. The teachers are different, their teaching styles are different & your learning pace is different. So, don't worry! If you know how to manage time and are regular with self-study, it won't bother much. But if you aren't able to cope up with coaching & school simultaneously even after 11th, I would suggest you enrol in online coaching rather than offline methods & do self-study.

Hi, to prepare for IIT exam without coaching you will have to start by making a proper timetable. Plan your entire day in such a manner that you study Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also spend some time for revision. You can take help from Etoosindia.com topic-based video courses if you feel. Try to make your handwritten notes while reading a chapter. Your focus should be on understanding a concept & its application and not on mugging up topics.
Also, take a print out of the syllabus and list the essential chapters. When you finish off with one section, solve mock questions and NCERT book questions. Buy only selective reference books. Solving the mock test series is of great importance. So, do it when you are entirely done with the syllabus. All will start with proper time-management. So, divide your entire day very smartly and carefully.

In Kota, various coaching institutes are available. I suggest Etoos India, which is located at Rajeev Gandhi Nagar. Well, it's 3 Smart learning centers in Kota, so might one of them near your home. At Smart learning centers, you can get all info related to courses. The best thing, this institute deals in online coaching, so you can subscribe to its courses and study at your home.
For any query, you can use Doubt Clinic, its experts provides within 24hours. Its VMTS (Video Mock Test Series) helps to track your performance. I suggest once time visit it's center.

It is just the suitable time to begin your JEE and Board exam preparation. Start studying from NCERT books. They are a pre-requisite and will build a foundation for competitive exams. Divide the number of hours you will be devoting to each topic. Remember, every subject is important so make sure you don't ignore anything. Once done with NCERT, start with revision and solve previous year questions papers. Don't forget to keep a healthy mind and body while preparing for JEE! All the best!
