Passionate Guitarist with 6 years of learning and playing experience

You can remember the strings by using the sentence: Every Boy Gets a Donut After Eating, the capital lettes in each words represent the strings from bottom to top (thinnest to thickest) hence we get: E B G D A E. Hope this helps

Guitarist, Pianist! Guitar tutor! 9 years of experience.

Its very easy to memorize acoustic guitars. Firstly just number them from 6 to 1 in decending order from top. And then just name them E, A, D,G ,B ,E. 6th string and 1st string are both E strings. Just memorize the strings between them.

You learn when you are comfortable.

From Bottom to top... Use the Rhyme.. ' Every Beautiful Girl Deserves An Eye' so that makes E B G D A E from 1st letter of every word.
