Ich liebe Deutsch!

Honestly, just understand the cases nicely and how the articles change. At later stages, you'll need to learn verbs with Akkusativ and Dativ plus Verbs with Akkusativ and Dativ Prepositions because that'll be used much more. Otherwise you can read some basic texts and try to find what is what.

Not at all! It is an added advantage but it is not completely necessary. German and English are different languages altogether. Infact if you know English, you tend to start translating from German to English thus hindering the learning process.

Not at all! Even a Superintensive course takes a month and a half per level.

Ich liebe Deutsch!

Yes because the medium of instruction will be German. Learning till B2 is more than enough.

It is an easy book but a bit low for the current standard. In my opinion Tangram, Netzwerk and Moment Mal are better
