In a speed time graph, all co-ordinates and lines would lie only in the first quadrant. Whereas in a velocity time graph it can lie in fourth quadrant as well.

speed is a scalar quantity, it has only magnitude but velocity has both magnitude and direction

Don't want to over express myself, just join and feel the experience.

The speed--time graph shows that speed becomes to zero at its maximum and then increases. The velocity--time graph also shows the change in direction .
Comments

velocity has, so just difference of scalar and vector quantity.

Velocity graph can have negative values for distance(x-cordinate)

Any object that is changing its speed or direction is accelerating. Speeding up, slowing down and going round a corner at constant speed are all examples of acceleration. Acceleration is a measure of how quickly the velocity of an object changes. Instantaneous acceleration = rate of change of velocity. It is represented by the gradient of a velocity–time graph. average acceleration = change in velocity ÷ time a = ?v ÷ ?t Acceleration is a vector quantity and is measured in m s–2. In physics, any change in velocity is an acceleration. This means that an object moving at constant speed, but changing direction, is accelerating. Speed–time and velocity–time graphs both give information about the motion of an object that is accelerating. The graphs below both represent the motion of a ball after it has been thrown vertically upwards with an initial speed of m s–1. read less

Hi, I want to teach online accounts mainly to Class 11, 12 and B.Com students, but I don't have notes, so is it necessary to have notes or how can I develop them, request you to help me regarding this.
Hi Piyush, in online teaching you have to be systematic and very clear in whatever topic you are targeting and for that you should go point vice, so at least you prepare that piont in your mind before starting your online teaching.
