First of all, the word "inertia" means ''opposition'' of change or we can say that ''against'' the change.
Types of Inertia:
1. Inertia of motion: If a body is in motion then it shows opposition to come in position of rest e.g. when brakes are applied in bus then we experience it, therefore we feel jerk in forward direction.
2. Inertia of rest: If a body is in rest then it shows opposition to come in position of motion e.g. when car is accelerated in forward direction then we feel jerk in backward direction.
3. Inertia of direction: When we tie a stone with a thread and start revoluting it circularly and suddenly thread get cutted then stone will go towards a particular vectoring direction.
