How many of you have felt that you danced after a long time and now you are suffering cramps? Specially with the Dandiya fever spreading around the city. This is where the warm-ups come into play. Dance is a way of expressing yourself for sure but more so a form of exercise. If your body is not stretched enough for it then you are risking injury and cramps everytime you dance after long gaps. So next time you decide to head out for a occasion that needs dancing make sure you are well warmed up with at least minimum stretches in:
1. Standing position - legs, hips, neck, arms
2. Sitting position - back, legs, thighs
3. Lying position - Abs, back, sidebelly, legs, arms
