Deep Chand

My academic journey includes a B.Sc. in Biological Science, M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS. I have acquired proficiency in a variety of tools and technologies including Python, ArcGIS, QGIS, SNAP, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Geoserver, and ArcGIS API. My current role as a Research Scientist at NRSC-ISRO has equipped me with hands-on experience in UAV data classification, field spectroscopy for water quality assessment, and conducting water quality analysis. Additionally, during my tenure at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, I was involved in preparing pollution maps and conducting trend analysis of air quality, showcasing my ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and deliver actionable insights.
I am particularly drawn to the opportunity at NRSC-ISRO due to its reputation for groundbreaking research and commitment to leveraging remote sensing technologies for societal benefit. I am eager to contribute my skills and expertise to projects related to Land/Water resource development planning (LRDP & WRDP), and to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals in advancing the organization's mission.
