"I had the brilliant opportunity to learn from Arvind for 5 months.I had to leave Bangalore then, but it would be enough to say that it transformed my playing completely. He is an incredible guitarist, and even better a teacher. You wouldn't find him just like a teacher, but a friend. His way of teachings, patience and understanding of music is much much more than what I expected when I came to Bangalore. He is very dynamic as a teacher and knows which direction to choose depending on the student. He clearly believes in expressing through your instrument in the end,and he tries to enable you to do it yourself.I have a lot of praises for him as a teacher, mentor and person. If you're serious about guitar, especially lead guitar(which he's into),just close your eyes and go to him. You'll gradually know you're at the perfect place All the best for your future! "

"In continuation with my earlier review, there is a certain story that I must tell you about Arvind when he was learning from me. He once asked me to teach him a riff, which I thought was too difficult for him (a riff is a rhythm guitar piece), I told him that it would be useless to learn it as even I could not play it (and I had been playing guitar for five years at that time!). Undaunted, Arvind learned it all by himself and executed it accurately within seven months since he started playing guitar. I was obviously ashamed and had failed in my duties. As a teacher, I had not placed enough trust in my student and assumed a negative attitude by saying it could not be learned. Since I started teaching professionally, I always tell my students about Arvind, his dedication, his attitude and how anything is possible if you have all of those things. So if you go to Arvind for lessons, he will never say no to anything and will believe in you even when you doubt yourself. This is the most valuable trait that any teacher can possess, trust in his or her students. As an aside, it is thanks to Arvind's attitude and dedication that I have found the courage within myself to pursue the one thing I love: music. From him I have learned not to fear the consequences and just focus and have fun at what you are doing at the present. Because all these little things you do on a day-to-day basis becomes part of a bigger whole. This is exactly how you learn guitar; you start with one small thing and move on to another small thing. But keep that up and one day you will be playing as good as someone like Arvind. And as your teacher, Arvind couldn't be happier knowing that his student has achieved something really special. "
