How can I prevent cupcake cases from sticking?

There is only one most effective solution to this is to buy good quality cupcake liners. however hard you try, if the cases are not made out of good quality paper it will stick.

Can I store my cakes in an airtight container after baking?

Yes, But make sure you seal it well with either aluminium foil or cling film
