Hi Vivek, hope you are doing great! Running and yoga are 2 different things and there is no harm in practicing both of them....unless u have some health issues that suggest you to not run or some weakness and medical conditions related to orthropedics that recommend you to not practice certain yoga asanas...

Running and yoga are 2 different things and there is no harm in practicing both of them....unless u have some health issues that suggest you to not run or some weakness and medical conditions related to orthropedics that recommend you to not practice certain yoga asanas you can practice both yoga and running. it is suggestive that after running you practice relaxation to calm your vitals and then practice yoga!

Running is a good exercise it's higher your metabolism and makes your body fit . In the other hand yoga is combination of exercise and breathing techniques. In running you don't have to control your breathing but in  several meditation and mudras you have to control it and by that you are actually controling your whole body , functions of organs and BMR also . Yoga also make your mind calm and make you spiritually stable by these practices. So now you decide.
