I didn't score what I had expected in 10th grade. This very thought is hampering my jee prep. Any suggestions on how to overcome this?
No need to worry because worry will only increase ur problem instead of helping you out . Since you got ur result n it was not expected as you said so now find out where u lack out what are the major problems and minor problems don't ignore minor ones and start preparing for your jee cuz this 10 marks heet will not decide your jee numbers only your practice and practice ur mistakes n ur will to improve those mistakes will make u succeed.
read lessRiddhi there is a difference between hope and expectation. I am sure you must have had prepared well for exam but the point the preparation are much more focused and tactful attempt of the paper. You should go through the previous years papers in every case be it academic exam or competitive and understand the time management to score maximum even if you are 60% prepared and believe me it's possible. Make small targets or even smaller and appreciate yourself when you achieve them. Don't dwell much in to the past rather learn from mistake and find out what went wrong because it's very important stay focused now a days. HOPE don't EXPECT after giving your 100%.
read lessIt's completely natural to feel disappointed if things didn't go as planned in the past, but remember, your worth isn't defined by a single exam score. Use this experience as motivation to fuel your JEE preparation. Focus on the progress you're making each day rather than dwelling on past setbacks. Set realistic goals, break your study sessions into manageable chunks, and celebrate small victories along the way. Most importantly, believe in yourself and your ability to succeed. You've got this!
read lessYou should not be disheartened.. 10th marks and jee score are not at all related. Saying this from my personal experience, your 10th score will not decide your future. The most important thing for getting success is to keep yourself motivated and consistent. Don't give up.. just work out on the areas where you think you could have scored better.. and study hard and stay positive.. you will definitely succeed in your life if you will keep working hard..
read lessLook into the reasons for your marks. Students should learn lessons from their mistakes. Taking excuses and backing is easy. Those who challenge and face are brave and successful. Forget your past . Focus on bright future. Learn and practice from day 1. Never repeat the mistake and never be lazy. All the best.
read lessI can understand what is affecting you. Please don't feel low and I would suggest you to focus on JEE Prep. It can be difficult but you can't change what already happened but you can recover what you still have left. Just like we balance our other things when we didn't get what we needed, we work hard to achieve the goal with what remained. All the best
read lessYeah results are out for class 10th, 12th. Well divide your marks into categories: Overall percentage and percentage of marks in maths, science taken together.
Two scenarios :
1) Overall percentage less than maths, sceince taken together. In that case no need to worry because you might have not prep well for other three subjects. Be confident! and stay focused as you have achieved what you tried for and start your journey of learning with some fresh energy.
2) If its the other way round then its an alarm for you. Need little bit of introspection, where did you lack. I am sure you must have prepared well for the exam. Find the areas where you missed out, like:
i) Did you completed the course well before the exam
ii) Did you practiced enough
iii) revision of important concepts, questions
iv) writing enough practice papers, PYQs
v) tried attempting mock tests, sample papers
*well beside all these most important but very often ignored issues, like
a) how was your health during exam
b) any issues in the family, friends, acquaintance which might have affected your mind.
c)You must have scored well in a few subjects. Well how was your previous exams went....
Better to understand and try to stay focused and get perturbed by past performances. Make sure past doesn't decide your future and feel good about yourself. Best thing is you understand, accept your mistakes and ready to learn from past mistakes, improve your current preparation and get the desired results in future👍
All the best!
Stay focussed and keep learning 😊👍
